Forse in un’altra vita presented for the first time to the public a selection of big format polaroids from the series Nobody’s People (1992) by Iranian photographer Reza Khatir.

​

The photographs were realised in a refugees’ centre in Switzerland, where Khatir documented the faces of migrants from the Middle East and from Africa according to the pictorial tradition of the portrait. The result is a delicate and deep look at the inhabitants of the centre, 

depicting them with dignity and proud - transcending the stereotypical imagery linked to the asylum seeker.
