The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum presents the first solo exhibition in Europe by Angélica Serech (*1982, Guatemala). Pach’un Q’ijul (Temps Entrelacés – Deep Time) is a dialogue between the recent work of the artist, who is of Maya Kaqchikel origin, and the museum's collections.

Guided by an experimental and intuitive approach, Serech builds her own looms to connect ancestral gestures to her personal history marked by the Guatemalan civil war. Her works pay tribute to her cultural heritage while exploring the restorative dimension of artistic creation. Weaving links between individual and collective memories, the exhibition invites us to immerse ourselves in the relationships between textiles and humanitarian action.
